Updating!!!!

Ok so its been FOREVER since I've updated! We'll our last cycle of clomid worked, but six weeks later we had a miscarriage. So, that was kinda a bumber, but I know the good Lord has something bigger and better in store for us! April 7-11 We went to Mesquite, NV for a golf tounement that Mr. T went to for his company. Lots of fun we went to Las Vegas while we were there because it was like an hour away ate at the Venitian in a swanky italian restraunt! Then going back to NM we went through Zion National Park WAY cool!!! Tried to go to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, but it was closed off due to the winter. So, we kept going went to the Vermillion Cliffs then found a random guy who stopped and told us we could still see the Canyon if we wanted to go on a 10 minute hike so we did. Pretty spontaneous for Mr. T we were like we'll if the guy tries to follow us and kill us well its a good place to do that it was in the middle of no where in the middle of the dessert! It was awesome though anywho then we stopped at the Navajo Bridge and saw my first Califoria Condor AWESOME!!! Then came home. So, much fun at exiting for us!

Then for our anniversary the weekend of April 22 we went to Pagosa Springs,CO with our friends Derrick and Alicia. It was a blast went and hiked down a mountain to get to the river to go fishing. Not recommeded with a 3 year old but he mannaged. Then went to a Animal wildlife place it was fun too then went to Trinidad, CO for Mr. T's work. Pics to come! Those are our adventures thus far this year! More updating to come!

We'll  my doctor had to put me on different medication because I still hasn't ovulating I was taking

50 mg Clomid on days 5-9 of my cycle

that was it.

Then I had to be put on

metphormine one pill twice daily to help my overies to work. Its some new thing they are doing, but that dang metphormine was making me SO sick to my stomach not cool! its typically used for diabetes but now they are trying to use it combined with clomid. So, they upped my clomid to 100 mgs.

new meds:

Metphormine one pill twice daily
100 Mg Clomid days 5-9

So, hopefully it'll work

It did I FINALLY OVULATED!!!! YEAH!!!! We'll see in a couple of weeks and see if it gets me preggo! Wish us luck!!!

PS this is my experience not saying all doctors perscribe the same meds, but this is what my doctor did and what works for me might work for you and it might not. Hope this is a little helpful.

Preggo Business

So, Mr. T gave me a idea for a subject. I'm pretty much one of those people who don't hide very much. And, perticuallary about pregnacy and getting preggo! I like to hear about friends experiences expecially the nasty stuff that NO ONE talks about and then it happens to you and your like why oh why didn't anyone tell me about this. I read that pregnancy book by jenny mccarthy when i was pregnant with Braydon and she let it all out good and bad!!!! I don't like surpises when it comes to birthing a 6 lb. child well he was 5 lbs 14 ounces but whos counting. Anywho this is what we are going to talk about today!

Having issues getting preggo!!!

So, we've been trying for like a year now and haven't had any luck. I've had past histories of hormonal issues dating back to when I was in 2nd Grade. I had percosius pubirty (sp?). Its when you start your period WAY before your supposed to! So, they gave me monthly shots all the way up to I think 5th grade to prevent me from starting. BTW its snowing HUGE flakes as I type. haha Anywho, so thats kinda what my past history had to do with. So, when Mr. T and I got preggo with Braydon it was a MAJOR no no we weren't married and to this day I hate that it had to happen like that, but God had a plan for us!!! I fully believe this because I wasn't having periods then so I wasn't ovulating the doctors say so it was a one in a million chance I got preggo at that time. And, it wasn't like we were doing it ALL the time! that was the first time we did it in like a month in a half! And, now we do it all the time and can't its crazy! Anyway sorry for the TMI, but I want ya'll to hear my experience no lines crossed because anyone could have the same experience and feel like they are the only ones going through it, but there isn't there are lots of women battling the same issues! So, I'm just throwing it all out there!  Anywho, this is my preggo business history lesson of my experience today. So, Monday I'll talk about what my doctors plan for meds and stuff is right now.

Sewing adventure

So, I have a new found hobby! SEWING!!! I love it so far it took me awhile to figure out how to use my machine, but my seragant grandma taught me well! The first project was an apron second a camera strap slipcover I made for my Canon T1i (love it by the way the camera that is)

Its been snowing here for the past 3 days!!! I've never in my life had this much snow at a house EVER. I'm a Texas born and raised girl (west texas) we don't get this kind of weather its CRAZY!!! But, its lots of fun and beautiful!!!!!

Friends

Our friends Derrick and Alisha came over and ate left over stew last night. Lots of fun never a dule moment with the 4 of us! Here is a pic we took with the new camera.

Easy Beef Stew Recipe
1-1/2 Cups Flour
2 lbs. Stew Meat
1 onion (chopped)
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
4 Cups. Beef broth
1-3 Tlbs. Tony's
1-2 Cups Carrots (baby)
4-5 Potatoes (chopped in 1 in. cubes)
1-2 Bay leafs or 1-2 tsp. chopped bay leaf
1-2 Tbls. Corn Starch
1-2 Tbls. Water

Put about 1 cup of flour in a plastic bag and about 1 Tbls. Tony's with batches of stew meat until coated. After coating all the stew meat in flour and Tony's mixture put about 6 Tbls. olive oil in a large metal pan. I used a big stock pot and coated the bottom of the pot with olive oil didn't measure. Put stew meat into the pot and let brown make sure you put them in as batches not all at once. After all stew meat is browned set aside on a plate. Put a little more olive oil in the pot and chop up 1 onion and 2 cloves of garlic and suate until translucent. The pour about 3 cups of beef broth or 3 cups of water and beef bouillan cubes into the pot. Then put carrots, potatoes, bay leaf, tony's, any other spice you have that you think will compliment. Then when the potatoes and carrots are soft mix the corn starch and water in a little bowl or cup with a spoon and pour into the stew if you think it needs to be thicker just stir up more of the corn starch mixture and add. Then your all done if you need help or more info just leave me a comment and let me know I just did the recipe by memory so it might be kinda confusing.

My 1st post EVER!!!

So, today I thought it would be fun to start my own blog. I'm a newbie, so bare with me. I thought I should start one so my friends and family can see what we are up to. And, I can utilize my new CAMERA!!! haha Well for a while it might be boring, but hopefully I'll get the hang of it and have lots of fun with it! So, I guess for my first post I'll write something about me!

1. I'm a stay at home mommy to a wonderfully silly little boy Braydon
2. I have an awesome husband who works in the oilfield, which brings me to where we live.
3. We live about 45 minutes from the four corners region. On the New Mexico side.
4. We moved here from west TX about a year and a couple of months ago because of the company the boy got a job with. We prayed and prayed to make sure this was the right move for our family, and it was hands down!
5. I'm a horrible speller so in advance I'm saying I'm sorry for that! God didn't give me the gift of spelling.
6. All of our family is back in TX which is kinda sad, but we found an AMAZING church that has really took us in as one of them.
7. We have parents and serrogant parents.
8. We have brothers, sisters, and serrogant brothers and sisters. haha
9. I'm a wanna be crafter!!!
10. I love to cook, but hate to clean up!
11. I like to look at peoples crafts online and try to make it my own.
12. I love my life as of now!
13. I miss my Grandparents on my Mom's side very much we lost both of them within 2 years.
14. I miss my family back in TX.
